  • Legitimate interests – we’re collecting or using your information because it benefits you, our organisation or someone else, without causing an undue risk of harm to anyone. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to portability. Our legitimate interests are:

    • The information is collected in the purchase of tickets so we can give the customer their ticket. Without email address details they wouldn’t be able to receive ticket information and so would be unable to use the service.

    • Archive photos are taken at performances which count as a public location and so is fair use. Research data is fully anonymised and so low risk.

    • We are not able to deal with complaints without contacting the complaining party. Having contact information allows us to do this.

  • CCTV footage or other recordings

How long we keep information

Email data is kept so long as you remain on the newsletter.

Other information is kept indefinitely until a request to remove it is received. 

Who we share information with

Data processors

Ticket Tailor

This data processor does the following activities for us: They manage our online box office.

We have a joint controller relationship with Ticket Tailor. We process your personal information with that joint controller for the following reason: Ticket Tailor is our ticketing platform. The collect data on our behalf as they deal with customer billing. Using them reduces infrastructure requirements for us and Ticket Tailor has significant expertise in data protection..
